September Fun with Pickles!

September was a long month for Pickles.

It started off fun with a pillow fort.

Then she hurt her foot.  The vet said it was a sprained ankle probably jumping off the couch or bed and landed wrong.  She wasn't able to put weight on it.  So we had to give her pain medication for a week.

We put up the magnetic screen and it took her a week to figure out how to work it.  She still prefers us to open it for her than using her nose to open it.

Pickles loves our new foam mattress topper!

Matt went out of town one weekend and she was my buddy!

We had lots of snuggle time.  Look at that belly!

She isn't allowed in this chair.  But I took a picture to send to Matt before I told her to get out.

Pickles has been scared to go in the backyard.  She scratches on the front door to go outside instead of the back.  We've narrowed it down to the Halloween decorations in the cul-de-sac behind us or the stray cat that was hanging out front because the neighborhood kids were giving it water and food.

We do have another long chain we use when we are out front so we did that once or twice but didn't want her to get too used to it.  We have been taking her out on her leash in the backyard.

But she's turning a corner and is able to go out back for a bit without us staying with her.

She's the sweetest little thing!  We love her so much!
